“I’m proud I was able to do that, I wasn’t expecting it and was very surprised,” Landis said. “I’m just really surprised, I want to know who nominated me,” Hayes said. “I was happy when I found out I was nominated, plus I got a subway gift card,” Matthews said.
The students who won were freshman Dean Reed, sophomore Daniel Landis, junior Alaysha Hayes, and senior Archie Matthews. The students of the month were nominated by their English teachers for their hard work and dedication. This month, the Leadership class, along with the teacher of the month, did a student of the month for each grade.
